Agency Workers Regulations due to come into force in October 2011

While October 2011 might seem a long way away, firms need to start planning for the introduction of the new Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) now.
Most crucially do not bury your head in the sand and just forget about it. The government will not seek a final review on the legislation, rather the new regulations are definitely coming into place in October.
While agencies need to work closely with hirers to plan compliance with the regulations, they also need to consider how they will fund any additional costs.
